The DHI method or pen method is the most modern method for a hair transplant in Turkey, Istanbul and Antalya.
In comparison to conventional FUE hair transplantation, no surgery is necessary with the DHI procedure, so there is only a very low risk of infection, and unsightly surgical scars also remain.
Hair transplants performed with the DHI method achieve the most natural and successful results. It is the latest hair transplant procedure. The procedure for a FUE hair transplant is usually the same. The grafts are removed from the donor area, the channels for the grafts are opened at the recipient area (we offer the special and innovative percutaneous method) and finally used. This process is usually carried out in 3 processes. In this way, the hair follicles are separated from the body’s nutrient supply for a few hours. In order to offer the DHI hair transplant, you need a particularly knowledgeable and successful team, because this procedure requires the highest degree of precision with each of the individual steps.
The process differs with the DHI method. As before, the grafts are removed from the donor area and then enriched in the special nutrient solution. When transplanting in the recipient area, a separate channel opening is no longer necessary. Thanks to the use of the Choi Implanter Pen, the grafts are transplanted directly. The channel opening and the grafting accordingly take place in the same work step. So, you can graft one graft after the other step-by-step. Although this process is a lot more time-takin, which is why it is only possible up to a certain number of grafts, it promises optimal end results.
With previous transplantation methods, only around 60 to 75 percent of the removed hair survives.
With the DHI method with the pen, it is around 90 to 95 percent.
With the FUE hair transplantation method with the micrometer, you can per 1 square cm plant up to 30 hairs.
With the DHI hair planting method, you can plant 75-100 hairs.
In the process, individual hairs are removed from the middle back of the head. The removed hair follicles are inserted into the scalp using a small needle.
The advantages of the DHI method
No entry holes are required, as has been the case with previous methods, since the hair follicles are immediately reinserted with a special DHI implantation device, the Pen Choi.
Since the treatment is carried out quickly and almost painlessly, minimal postoperative medication is equired.
However, the DHI method is not only suitable for the implantation of hair on the scalp.
With the DHI method it is possible to take into account the direction of growth of the implanted hair as precisely as possible and thus achieve a uniquely natural result. In addition to the controlled direction of hair growth, thanks to the DHI method, it is possible for us to enable minimal openings with special, fine needles to implant the grafts in a maximum density and thus achieve a great result.
In addition, the fine needles that are used in the DHI method reduce the risk of scarring and ensure faster wound healing – this means that after a hair transplant, you are more socially acceptable again than ever before.
